Hello, I'm excited to share a glimpse into my journey and the birth of
Mind Over Muscle Fitness (MOM Fitness).
With a background in nursing and Master’s prepared in healthcare administration, I currently navigate the complex realm of a local hospital physicians’ group, ensuring seamless coordination across various facets of patient care.
Before this role, my career took me through diverse paths—from running a community health center to serving as a finance director in Boston and a VP for a large company nationwide. Each step contributed to my growth, both professionally and personally.
Balancing the demands of work and home life, I realized the need for a holistic self-care plan. Thus, MOM Fitness was born out of my quest for improvement in physical, nutritional, mental, and professional aspects.

What sets me apart as a lifestyle coach is my unique combination of qualifications and experience. With a certification in personal training and over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) coupled with a bachelor's degree, I offer a comprehensive understanding of both physical fitness and health management. This dual expertise allows me to provide holistic guidance that addresses not only your fitness goals but also your overall well-being. Whether it's developing tailored workout plans or offering personalized health advice, my background ensures that you receive expert support to help you achieve lasting results and improve your quality of life.
Physically
My fitness journey began with a disdain for traditional cardio exercises. Embracing CrossFit and later transitioning to HIIT, I experienced the transformative power of group classes. The camaraderie and the focus on core strength, agility, and endurance became integral to my well-being.
Nutritionally
Understanding the impact of food on mood, I delved into planning fulfilling meals that not only satisfied hunger but also contributed to my overall well-being. Exploring macros became a crucial part of my journey, guiding me towards achieving weight, energy, and satisfaction goals.

Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, I advocate for seeking mental health support akin to having a Primary Care Physician. While not a mental health clinician, I can offer recommendations for finding the right therapist.
